Megan and I stopped at an amazing little cafe for lunch today (we were actually awake and out of the flat before noon!). It is called Le Perko and is located at 8 Griffon Place, 69001 Lyon France. It's in a hillier part of town so I would make sure you have the proper shoes on while exploring this area. The food was wonderful, the service was amazing, the weather was perfect. We couldn't have asked for more.
The cafe has a limited menu during lunch, consisting of a few salads and a few galettes. We had the vegetarian salad and the chicken galette. Both were delicious and we would go back in a heartbeat. We are horrible bloggers though and have no photos of the food...we were too excited and had dug in before pictures could be taken!

Along with the amazing food, they have impressive coffee options (or at least a cool menu that explains what all of the options are instead of assuming you're a coffee expert and know how everything is made...) The scents coming from inside the cafe were tantalizing, but the weather outside was roughly the temperature of the surface of the sun today, so we opted for a juice instead of coffee. Bummed we missed out on their amazing, caffeinated creations. There's always next time!
In the end, we give Le Perko two big thumbs up and suggest that everyone coming through spend at least one slow afternoon at this amazing cafe.
